FAQs

How should I heat up my Smoked, Fully-Cooked Turkey?
We recommend heating it in a 250 degree oven in a cooking bag with 1 cup of water added.
  - 10-14 pounds - 2 1/2 hours
  - 15 pounds and over - 3 - 3 1/2 hours.

Some people use aluminum foil over a pan, but we think the cooking bag works best.

How should I heat up my Smoked, Fully-Cooked Ham?
We recommend heating it in a 250 degree oven in a cooking bag with 1 cup of water added.
  -Boneless (around 8-9 lbs): 2 - 2 1/2 hours
  -Bone in (around 15-16 lbs): 3 - 3 1/2 hours.

How should keep my Smoked, Fully-Cooked Turkey?
-If you aren't going to eat it for 3 weeks, freeze it.
-Thaw it out in the refrigerator (if whole) 3-4 days before you plan to eat it.

-If desired, you can de-bone it, and put the boneless meat in zip-lock bags before freezing.
That way, you can put it in smaller packages to thaw them out in the fridge overnight.

Do you use natural or artificial smoke to flavor your meats?

-All of our smoked items are naturally smoked in our stainless steel smokehouses with select hardwoods, we never

   use artificial smoke products!
